Chapter 15 : I'm late
They dare not come out during the day, but only dare to climb out at night to find food and drink from the refrigerator, go to the toilet quietly, and then crawl under the bed to rest.
Zhou Sui could never fall asleep. She would wake up suddenly when she occasionally took a nap, and she would break out in a cold sweat every time.
She couldn't sleep at night, and she didn't dare to sleep during the day. Zhou Sui's eyes were red and the pain was unbearable. Zhou An held her head and let her lean on it for a while, and Zhou Sui slowly fell asleep for a while.
She was awakened by the fragrance.
The aroma of instant noodles.
When she woke up, she didn't see Zhou An. She rushed out like crazy and saw Zhou An in the kitchen. The little one was standing on a chair waiting for instant noodles.
She bit open the cup of noodles with her teeth and added hot water to it. She couldn't put the seasoning packet in, so she bit open almost all of it and poured it in. She even found a book to hold it on top.
Zhou Sui panicked and threw the cup of noodles into the trash can: "Who asked you to do this?"
Zhou An was startled: "Sister..."
Zhou Sui kept fanning herself with a book anxiously. The tone of her voice changed: "The fragrance will attract people..."
Zhou An was frightened to tears: "Sister."
"It's okay, it's okay, no one knows for the time being, we will be fine. I'll put the things, throw it away, we..." Before she could finish her words, she heard a clear male voice coming from outside.
"Do you smell anything?"
Her heart suffocated, she grabbed Zhou An's hand and hid in the room.
Zhou An covered her mouth and did not dare to make a sound, tears rolling down her face.
Zhou Sui took her into her arms and the two of them hid under the bed. Later, she hesitated for a moment and crawled out again. Zhou An reached out to grab her in fear.
Zhou Sui's tears were streaming down her face. She kept shaking her head and comforted her in a very soft voice: "Sister is fine. Don't come out. No matter what happens, don't come out. Sister will be fine."
Zhou An covered her mouth and cried. Her face turned purple.
The people outside the door couldn't get in, so they finally came in through the window. It was two people. After digging through the trash can and finding cup noodles, they determined that there was someone in the room, so they looked around.
Zhou Sui stood in the room holding the dagger, her body shaking constantly because of fear.
"Woman, hahaha, I'm sure it's a woman!" A man shouted excitedly from outside, "Look, she has long hair."
The door to the room was kicked open with a bang, and Zhou Sui was frightened when she saw two strange men standing in front of her. She took a step back unconsciously.
"We're in luck." When one of the men saw Zhou Sui's appearance, he showed an astonished look. "It's too suitable for my taste. I'll go first."
"No." The other one also fell in love with Zhou Sui and was desperate.
The two quarreled for a while, and gunshots suddenly sounded outside the window. Zhou Sui lowered her head and looked at herself. She was covered in blood. She trembled and looked forward. The two men standing at the door had their heads blown off.
She almost hugged her legs with both hands, used all her strength to crawl under the bed, and hugged Zhou An, who fainted from fright.
After a while, uniformed soldiers came in from outside, probably to check whether the two people were dead. After checking the room, they hurriedly left.
Zhou Sui didn't dare to come out. After Zhou An woke up, she didn't dare to speak. She didn't even call out to her sister, as if she was scared to death.
Zhou Sui herself was also frightened. The dead man was lying in their room, and bright red blood was flowing from the door, almost to the bottom of the bed.
She didn't dare to look at the two dead people, let alone go out. The tears flowed down quietly, and she wiped them away with the back of her hand.
Xing Ming came at night.
As soon as he entered the house, he smelled a strong smell of blood. He thought something had happened to the Zhou Sui sisters, so he frowned. When he arrived at the door, he saw two male corpses. He stepped over the corpses, walked to the bed, squatted down, lifted up the sheets, and looked under the bed.
Zhou Sui held the dagger, pointing at him with fear, and the arm holding the dagger kept shaking.
"It's me." Xing Ming stretched out his hand and said, "You can come out now."
After a long pause, Zhou Sui moved her numb legs and threw herself into his arms.
She was shaking so hard her teeth were chattering.
"Why did you..." She cried so hard that she almost lost her breath, and her body was shaking uncontrollably, "It took you so long to come back..."
"Sorry," Xing Ming clasped her neck tightly and hugged her even tighter, "I'm late."
